  • Migration to Azure
    Successfully led a team of 12 engineers to migrate eCommerce systems from private cloud to Azure.

    Collaborated with eight project teams to move all their systems to Azure. Migrated solutions include ARM templates and Infosec hardened secured solutions for eCommerce browse/catalog, MongoDB, data science, BI, and inventory systems.

  • Implement Cloud Management Platform
    Managed vendor selection RFP process to select a vendor from over 16 vendors. Reduced server count by 20%.

    After the selection of the cloud management platform tool, implemented the solution. This allowed shutting down a data center and reduced server count by 20%.

  • Sales and Marketing Automation
    Initiated and delivered a sales team technology program to substantially improve technology for the 400+ member sales team.

    The program budget was $5 million, spread over three years, and consisted of multiple projects. They included the implementation of Microsoft CRM Dynamics across divisions and a financial reporting solution for the Sales team.

  • CHEF Upgrade
    Reevaluated contracts with Chef.io and reduced support expenses by $200,000. Upgraded Chef from version 12 to 13.

    Led six DevOps engineers to manage server configuration software (CHEF). Root cause analysis was done for many ongoing bugs which were resolved thereby improving deployments efficiency by 20%.

  • SaaS for Dispensers and Incontinence
    Project manager for enhancing SAP FI and SD for allowing Essity to sell smart products using a SaaS model to customers.

    SAP solution was enhanced to allow collection of sales tax, billing for subscription service and manage Essity owned modems/dispensers. Smart products ensured customers always had products in hand.

  • Ortec Implementation
    Implemented a solution to optimize trailer loading and thereby reducing transportation costs by $5 million per year.

    Project required working with customer service, IT, and packaging teams to optimize the product size on pallets. The product catalog was updated.

  • Nursing Home Purchase History Reporting
    Automated reporting for over 5,000 customers thereby reducing two headcounts. Provided on-demand reporting.

    Implemented an SAP Business Objects solution to provide on-demand reporting to customers that automated the work of two headcounts. The solution involved Contract Management, reporting to government and product rebate processing.

  • API Platform Enhancement
    Managed a program with multiple teams to complete an API platform extension that hosted over 100,000 datasets.

    As the program manager for the API platform, I worked with four scrum teams to deliver the initiative. Also, improved the search and implemented the access control to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data.
